2 cups Chicken Stock or chicken broth
2 cans (15 ounces each) cannellini beans, rinsed, drained
2 cups chopped celery
1 medium onion, chopped
3 green onions, sliced
1–2 cloves garlic, minced
1⁄2 teaspoon each: dried dill weed and thyme leaves
1⁄8 teaspoon ground allspice
Juice of 1 lemon
Salt and cayenne pepper, to taste
