1 cup each: small broccoli florets, whole milk
2 tablespoons cornstarch
12–16 ounces shrimp, peeled, deveined
Salt, to taste
Hot pepper sauce, to taste

1. Combine beans, corn, clam juice, onion, jalapeño chili, garlic, and herbs in crockpot; cover and cook on high 3 to 4 hours, adding broccoli during last 20 minutes. Stir in combined milk and cornstarch, stirring 2 to 3 minutes. Add shrimp; cook 5 to 10 minutes. Season to taste with salt and hot pepper sauce.
