1 1⁄2 pounds tomatoes, peeled, chopped
1 cup halved small mushrooms
3 large cloves garlic, minced
2 teaspoons dried Italian seasoning
1⁄8–1⁄4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
1 pound grouper or other firm-fleshed fish steaks, thinly sliced
1⁄2 cup chopped parsley
Salt and pepper, to taste

1⁄4 cup tomato paste
1 cup each: chopped onion, red and green bell peppers
1⁄2 cup chopped celery
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
1 pound haddock steaks, cubed (2-inch)
2 cups cooked medium pasta shells, warm
2–3 tablespoons lemon juice
Salt and pepper, to taste
