This soup is delicious served with warm crusty bread.

2 cans (28 ounces each) crushed tomatoes
1 can (16 ounces) tomato juice
3⁄4 cup each: clam juice, dry white wine or water
1 cup chopped onion
3 medium potatoes, peeled, diced
1⁄2 cup each: chopped celery, sliced bell pepper, carrots, mushrooms
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
8 ounces each: cubed skinless halibut, sole, snapper
Salt and pepper, to taste

1. Combine all ingredients, except fish, salt, and pepper, in 6-quart crockpot; cover and cook on low 6 to 8 hours, adding fish during last 15 to 20 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
